Information for employers

Could your institution use another set of hands? Hire a young Canadian through the Young Canada Works (YCW) program and receive support for your institution!

There are two streams of funding:

  • YCW in Heritage Organizations (YCW-HO): an employment program for students
  • YCW at Building Careers in Heritage (YCW-BCH): funds internships for young college or university graduates.

YCW is an important investment in the future of the museum industry, creating professional development opportunities for future colleagues, and supports the CMA’s strategic objective to strengthen the museum workforce today and for the future.
