Advocacy
The Canadian Museums Association advocates on behalf of Canadian museums and professionals in the sector in order to help increase the value of museums to society. This can involve activities in support of campaigns such as International Museums Day, organizing Hill Days on Parliament Hill, organizing meetings with government officials, and appearing before Parliamentary committees on museum-related issues.
